The Fugue: Spooky

Who doesn’t love a little scare? More importantly, who doesn’t appreciate a bit of the macabre, the otherworldly and … spooky? There were times that I held my camera, and a chill went up my spine. I didn’t know why, but it was something that I wanted to keep.

I used to work in the Patent Office, but drive in to two with my father (who also worked for the government at the time). This meant walking through some of the classically busiest parts of downtown, at times when there were no people there. It was spooky because they were liminal spaces, but absolutely deserted. I find eerie moments like that to be incredible. Hopefully you will too.
