The Fugue: Ice

Given that I practically have spent all my time in Canada, it makes sense that ice is represented as much if not more than water. Ice is a form of water, but it is a special kind of form. It’s solid, but can be transparent, opaque, or translucent. Over the years, there have been many ice “events”, such as Ice Storm ’98 (humbling to think that as of this writing, that was a quarter century ago), snow squalls, as well as freezing rain and hail.

The Ottawa River is nearby, and it provides a lot of interesting effects, as the humid air blowing over the river condenses on the nearby foliage.
