Summer’s almost over

Summer’s almost over. The SAAF was a blast, and it was a great experience meeting people face to face. I also had a showing at the Atomic Rooster, where the big (2’x3′) version of the Red Pine was on display.

I’m already working on the next project, inspired by a friend of mine in Hong Kong. We “met” entirely by chance, and even though we haven’t met in person, I’ve been playing tour guide from halfway around the world. There’s an interesting twist to this one, but I’ll save some of the mystery for later.

Also, fittingly enough, “Summer pause” was chosen to be included in the September issue of PhotoED. It’s the water issue, so the calm beach shot was a perfect candidate.
